On a weekly basis, students completed an individual accountability sheet, where they recorded their goal for the week, tasks to be completed, and plans for accomplishing the task.

For their final exam, students were required to respond to the essential question, “What is an individual’s responsibility to his or her community,” in a persuasive essay. Students were asked to provide evidence from their work, as well as peer’s work, throughout the semester to support their position, as well as describe what they plan to do in response to their responsibility to their community.

Students were also assessed on their booth/display, which was showcased at the Film Festival and Community Service Expo. A rubric was used to measure content, craftsmanship, creativity, design and layout.
